Rainforest Cafe

For lunch on our day in Chicago, Cody and I had the novel idea to take our kids to the Rainforest Cafe. Unique atmosphere, realistic-pretend animals, sound effects - oh the kids are going to love it! Right??

We got seated right next to the elephant - great view!

But the kids didn't react quite as expected.

Ava - Not so sure about this...

And then the elephants started making loud noises and moving around,
and the kids lost it.

Cohen - TERRIFIED

Ava also started bawling - she's usually so much more brave!

So we got moved to another table, away from any noisy animals, nearer to the fish aquarium. Things calmed down and we ended up actually enjoying the rest of the experience and even the food.
